Introduction
MAKE IT HAPPEN is gathering 9 partners committed to promote and develop inclusive European mobilities for VET learners with disabilities.
By building upon several partners’ initiatives, developed 7 years ago, the project aims to support both:
- mobility operators to extend their actions to VET learners with disabilities and;
- VET organizations and social educational organizations to give their learners with disabilities Erasmus+ opportunities.
To reach this aim, a strong and selected partnership made of complementary organizations has been settled among experienced mobility promoters and VET experienced actors aimed at learners with disabilities, in 6 European countries (France, Spain, Italy, Germany, Portugal and Belgium).
Objectives
The specific objectives of MAKE IT HAPPEN are:
- Engage in a responsible attitude toward VET learners with disabilities mobility;
- Sharing a common vision among partners and newcomers on common values when addressing the mobilities of VET learners with disabilities;
- Developing a Methodology for inclusive mobilities aimed at reinforcing staff skills;
- Creating a set of promoting tools to engage newcomers;
- Building a large European community of sending, intermediate and hosting companies in the sheltered and the mainstream environment willing to engage in a responsible attitude toward VET learners with disabilities mobility.
